How Our Custom Mug Process Works

Many of the mugs featured across our product pages display personalized artwork—names, warfare insignia, hull numbers, and other unique details. These images are examples intended to show what is possible. They are not offered as pre-configured items, but every design you see can be created to order through our custom mug request form.

More Sizes, More Options

We recently expanded our lineup beyond the standard 15 oz mug. Customers can now choose from 11 oz, 15 oz, or 20 oz sizes. Pricing updates automatically based on the selected size, providing flexibility without surprises.

A Hands-On Design Process

When a custom mug request is submitted, it arrives directly in our inbox. From there, our designer creates the artwork manually. Each design is built to match the customer’s specifications while ensuring the final product remains balanced, legible, and visually clean. Because every customization is unique, slight variations in size or placement may occur across different designs.

Customer Approval Through a Detailed Mockup

Once the design work is complete, we generate a mockup that represents the closest possible approximation of the finished mug. This mockup is emailed to the address provided in the request form. Customers who do not see it within two business days should check their spam or junk folder, as automated messages occasionally get filtered.

Invoicing and Revisions

At the same time the mockup is emailed, we send a corresponding invoice through our store platform. If the mockup looks right and no adjustments are needed, payment of the invoice authorizes us to send the design to production. After payment, no changes can be made.

If the customer would like revisions, this is the stage to request them. We will provide an updated mockup for approval. Once everything looks correct, payment of the invoice moves the order forward.

Production and Delivery

After the invoice is paid, the mug goes to production. Creation typically takes a few days, followed by several additional days for shipping to the destination. Each mug is made to order, ensuring a personalized product crafted with care from start to finish.
