Introducing Old Salt Coffee’s Green Eyes Blend
Embrace the darkness with Old Salt Coffee’s Green Eyes Blend, a tribute to the unwavering courage and resilience of the US Navy’s Special Operators. Crafted from the highest quality beans sourced from Sumatra and Guatemala, Green Eyes is more than just coffee—it’s a testament to dedication and excellence.
Honoring Tradition
In the depths of Sumatra’s Takengon and AtuLintang regions lies the Jagong Mill, where the Junus family meticulously cultivate the finest organic Takengon Ika Mandheling Grade 1 beans. Owned and operated by Mr. Irham Junus, along with his son Andi and daughter Ina, this mill ensures each cherry is hand-selected for optimal ripeness, preserving Sumatra’s unique flavors with uncompromising quality control.
Global Impact, Local Heart
From the highlands of Huehuetenango in Guatemala comes Alma Coffee, a blend that spans generations of farming expertise. Partnering with local families and cooperatives, Alma Coffee focuses on sustainability and community support. Each purchase of Alma Coffee contributes to Habitat for Humanity Guatemala, building homes and fostering better living conditions for those in need.
The Essence of Green Eyes
Green Eyes is our darkest roast yet, embodying a bold flavor profile with notes of rich dark chocolate and a smooth, heavy-bodied mouthfeel. This blend transcends traditional coffee categories, pushing the boundaries of what defines a fourth wave coffee experience.
A Commitment to Service
For every bag of Green Eyes sold online, Old Salt Coffee proudly donates $1 to the Navy Seal Foundation. This initiative supports active duty and veteran members of the NSW community and their families.

Good service and love the coffee.
Just incredibly good coffee especially if you like strong but not bitter
Great coffee! Awesome customer service! Old Salt continues to exceed our expectations of what great tasting coffee with excellent customer service should be! BZ!
Upon opening the bag, the smells hit me and reminded me of my time in Coronado. The salt, the spray, and even the seaweed. The flavor is amazing and I can say the I WILL be getting more of the Green Eyes flavor. Epic Nostalgia!
I tried the bundle Green Eyes, Haze Gray and Silent Service, and have had a chance to go through most of the 3 bags of coffee I received and compare the group. I thoroughly enjoyed all 3. My preferences are a matter of personal taste. The Green Eyes was the darkest roast and not my personal favorite. However, in general I don't prefer dark roast coffees but this is an exception- I just like the other 2 more. I am divided between Silent Service (also a dark roast) and Haze Gray: I prefer Silent Service as a morning coffee with a bold taste and enough caffeine to get you going for the day. The Haze Gray has a milder flavor but lots of "punch" to get you through the workday afternoon. I will likely end up buying a 2 lb pack of the Haze Gray as the "winner" but all 3 were excellent coffees for great flavor and little acidity.
